Immersion Technology Services is pleased to announce the launch of SharePoint LMS 4.5 – the latest version of SharePoint LMS. Added features and functions are designed to motivate and engage learners through gamification and advanced tracking and reporting capabilities. Key additions include:

  • SharePoint LMS Gamification – Achieve higher levels of community engagement, reward learner performance, and improve communications with the new Gamification Web Part. The Web Part will display top employees based on either Completed Learning Activities or Earned CEUs. There are multiple configuration settings that allow companies to get a customized view of their top employees: number of employees, period of time, columns shown and filters.
  • Web-based reports – The most flexible default reporting feature for SharePoint LMS is here. It is now possible to get easy access to detailed information about learning activities across courses, teams, users, and curriculums from the reporting center. An instant overview with various filtering possibilities is available within the Dashboard and all reports with filtered data can be exported to Excel for further analysis.
  • Prerequisites for curriculums – Curriculums now have prerequisites for course completion order. Courses are locked in the employee’s dashboard until the current course is completed. This means that the company has control of the course order for each curriculum and job profile.

“We have worked hard on the new release of SharePoint LMS and are excited that it is now finally here,” said Bjarne Mortensen, CEO at ELEARNINGFORCE. “One of the new features is an advanced reporting tool that makes it possible to follow learners’ digital trail and act on the results to create better learning and improve employee performance.”

“We are very excited about the outcome of the hard work that went into this latest version,” said Joe Schweitzer, CLO at Immersion Technology Services, “The new gamification and reporting capabilities continue to raise the bar to a whole new way of learning and we anticipate some great results for our users.”
